World Refugee Week

Greetings from Books Unbound!

They are a social enterprise that creates culturally contextualised resources for refugee communities! Their approach is simple, they ‘cartoonize’ communities to produce culturally sensitive informal learning materials becasue representation is important. All of the products are created by refugees and for refugees with an extensive cultural feedback process to ensure efficacy. Please join in celebrating World Refugee Week if you are a School.

They want to get the most recent mental health downloads and colouring sheets for Ukrainians into the hands of teachers who are welcoming them into the classroom. Many Ukrainians have shared it is very important during this time to remember and be proud of their culture, these resources aim to honour this.
